Blend asked five artists and designers to redesign the fifty Euro banknote for their 'Form Over Function' paper issue.

Pinar&Viola's contributed with a banknote which is a reaction towards the 2010 Euro Crisis. Their fifty Euro banknote has the ambition to control the public debt in the Euro Area.

The design puts emphasis on the spending of earnings and encourages Europeans to stimulate the Euro Crisis recovery. The horrific design embodies neo - liberal economics and the anxiety for the continuation of the financial crisis.
