Stay in Bed

Stay in Bed 2009 is an update of the Bed-In of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1968. During a week they stayed in bed at Hilton Amsterdam, as a passivist way of protesting wars and promoting peace.

The twenty different bed linen were used in the hotel rooms
of Lloyd Hotel, from May, till October 2009. During that period, hotel guests were sleeping under the peace messages which are reflecting on current global issues (e.g. I stay in bed to save the planet, I stay in bed to secure privacy, I stay in bed to save energy sources, I stay in bed to reduce waste, etc.).
